When I was 4 years old, I was escorted to my first drum set. It didn't seem that bad at first, after watching a kid's TV show in which I learned that rolling drum & bass break. I barely knew any genres at that point considering I was still a child, but today I still wonder if that beat was the reason I chose drum & bass - not techno, house, trance or trap - but drum & bass, preferabbly jungle. So, I went along the years learning piano also, mainly classical ones. I sometimes made my own "compositions" and performed them for my family. It was at that point my family knew where I was going.

Then came December 2013, for Christmas I received FL Studio: Fruity Loops Edition. I really liked it at that point and before I received this DAW I played with the mobile version. It was the first day I got a handle of the layout, the samplers and VST's. So I stayed with this DAW and I still use it today, creating my first E.P. Shadows, in May. It went fairly well accept for the fact that the quality wasn't so acceptable by the community, except for my peers. I continued to make The Golden Age, based off of the topic our history class was focusing on at that point of time. My friends started to share my music and yet listen to it - regularly. They gave a thumbs up and I planned to release many singles and albums.

May of 2015 was an important year as I met someone called DJ Negative on a gaming forum. We talked for a bit and found out that we had the same interests - drum & bass. I soon found out that he produced his music as well, and we "peer-checked" eachother's work before we released the tracks. With this said, I went forward to remix one of his most played songs on Soundcloud, Forsaken, which in my opinion, the remix was just fine. I did have struggles with deciding what side of drum & bass do I go on - light and smooth, or dark, gritty and jungle-like. It was a hard decision, and even today I still go back and forth between these two types of moods.

When Drumology: Volume 1 was released in September of 2015, I also joined a drum & bass forum, dedicated to providing advice for tracks, samples, sharing music, and just the general chatter about drum & bass / jungle as well. Drumology  had beaten my recently most played track, Atmosphere, which brings back those old jungle vibes, and I was surprised. Even though Drumology was also a jungle track but sounded a little bit more modern, it still received more plays than any other song I had released.

Today, I still plan on working on The Events: Chapter 2 and recreating unreleased tracks (and remaking the song I made on 12/25/13) such as Forbidden, and Space.
